Customers Kell McLean and her dad Mal are back from an experience of a lifetime. The McLeans began their adventurer along with 19 other 2CV enthusiasts at the African Museum in Brussels. From here they travel overland to Spain to join a ferry to Morocco where the trail starts. Their route took them from Morocco across the Sahara desert and ended in Benin. Over the month they covered 6000 miles.
On the journey their encountered lots of challenges not least having to repair 21 punctures and replace a rear suspension arm after it was fractured.
Kell said that one of the most important pieces of their kit supplied by Autotest were the 10 inner tubes ‘they really were invaluable’.
At the end of the Trail in Benin Kell & Mal were announced as the Winners of the Most Hardcore Team as voted by their peers and the organisers. David and the team at Autotest are proud to have supported Kell & Mal on their amazing adventure.
